The move from Bechtel to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power gave Emami a new vantage point. Parkia, Inc. is an electrical engineering and construction firm operating across the western United States. Since becoming its Chief Executive Officer in 2014, Emami has directed the engineering and construction of numerous underground transmission projects ranging from 69kV to 230kV. Outside of his professional work, Emami describes a life grounded in family. He has been married for over thirty years. His two children are a source of clear and consistent pride. He enjoys hiking and swimming. These are not incidental details.
